The internship program is being operated based on the requirements of diverse business groups to be able to lead the technologies in the SW area and cooperate with the SW-oriented university. The participating students will have the opportunity to reinforce actual professional capabilities by participating in field-oriented problem solution-type projects that can lead to recruitment by the company of internship or companies related to the technology concerned. For their part, the participating companies can secure superior talent early and expand cooperation with the SW-oriented university for the solution of technological problems and pending issues.
Hold regular meetings of the Industry-Academy Council to share opinions with industries, get feedback (operation and management by the SW Education Center), and establish online and offline systems to share opinions and expand channels for the provision of services
Discover the actual problems of companies to solve them with students through cooperation between the industries and the university
Provide an internship program to solve the problems through SW development by students and offer employment opportunities at the company concerned through the acquisition of SW technology actually necessary for the industries
Performing SW development projects actually necessary for the industries to provide students with the opportunity to challenge themselves with the relevant problem
Conducting precise analysis of the requirements of companies to enable students to gain the knowledge that can be actually used for SW development
Fostering SW developers with the ability to create profit of the industries by teaching students how to grasp the trend of evolving SW
The program for connection with employment and business foundation is operated through the process of Capstone Design1, Short-term Internship, and Capstone Design2, which is compulsory for the graduation of students majoring in SW
The course is opened in the 2nd semester of the third year by performing projects received from industries with the close guidance of each team by the adviser and graduate students
Students are matched with industries based on the results of Capstone Design1 to work for 4 or 8 weeks during the winter vacation of the third year
More in-depth tasks are performed based on the results of the short-term internship, and the results will be utilized (SW registration, patent application, and preparation of thesis)
More than 6 months’ internship during the summer vacation and the 2nd semester of the fourth year
Prepare internship based on the results of Capstone Design and secure the final results of the long-term internship
